SYNOPSIS
In the final days of a fading Moorish kingdom, a fractured royal family faces betrayal from within as outside forces close in. When the Sultan brings home a captured Christian noblewoman and takes her as his consort, he ignites a scandal that threatens to unravel the court.
Caught in the crossfire is the heir—a gentle, artistic soul torn between loyalty to his mother, rebellion against his father, and the looming pressure of war. As cultural tensions rise between progressive city dwellers and conservative military leaders, civil war erupts, weakening the kingdom from within.
While a foreign queen plots conquest and an ambitious explorer prepares to sail into history, the last Muslim stronghold in Europe teeters on the brink of collapse. In the end, a mother’s warning echoes over the ruins of a lost empire.
